Entering Art Competitions in the Digital Age
2 p.m., Sunday, November 9, 2008 This program will be presented by Karen Lanier, photographer and printmaker, and lab instructor for Midland College student publications and photography. She will answer questions about and demonstrate how to get images of your artwork to digital files which can then be entered in the MAA Spring 2009 Show. In this digital age most regional, national and international shows require that artists submit their entries on cds rather than 35mm slides as was the custom. Before the demo begins there will be a short general/board meeting of Midland Arts Association, open to all attending. There is no charge for the demonstration. Please come and bring a friend. Light refreshments served.
